Party of Note: A Biltmore Beauty

The Phoenix Symphony kicked off its 2015/16 Party of Note Season Nov. 19 at the home of Mac and Russ Perlich, in the Taliverde neighborhood of the Biltmore.

Virginia G. Piper Music Director Tito Muñoz mingled with 63 guests while they enjoyed cocktails and casual dining, followed by an engaging musical performance by Dian D’Avanzo, assistant concertmaster; Karen Sinclair, section first violin; Mark Deatherage, acting principal viola and Michael D’Avanzo, section cello.

In its fifth season, this one-of-a-kind program offers a chance to spend a unique evening in a special setting with fellow Symphony friends. Guests indulge in a prepared meal by some of the Valley’s finest homes, relax as they listen to live, orchestral music and mingle with Symphony musicians. These are evenings to sip the finest wines, enjoy a little bubbly and celebrate the Symphony.

Eight more Parties of Note are scheduled for the 2015-2016 season.
