Lost Our Home Pet Rescue’s 7th Annual Champagne Brunch and Auction

Tempe-based Lost Our Home Pet Rescue held its Sit Stay Brunch on Dec. 3 at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia. The “Purrfect Holiday Celebration” drew 465 guests, raising $160,000 to support the organization’s general operations.

The event included a public announcement of Lost Our Home Pet Rescue’s Home At Last capital campaign and anonymous $1 million donation as well as the $250,000 donation from the Rachel Ray Foundation.

The brunch included live and silent auctions, inspiring stories, pets and more. Auctiontainer Letitia Frye conducted the live auction.

Melissa Sharpe served as the day’s emcee, and Thom and Sharla Blischok as the chairs of the capital campaign. Sandy Day, vice chairman of Lulu’s Fund, a part of the Timothy T. Day Foundation, was honored with the Pet Champion Excellence Award. Arizona’s Vision was the presenting sponsor.

Lost Our Home Pet Rescue enables families who are faced with financial or other difficulties to keep their pets by providing temporary and medical care, food and supplies, and pet-friendly housing services.
