Legacy of Love Gala
VALLEYLIFE hosted its annual gala Oct. 6 at the Sheraton Crescent Hotel. The event included silent and live auctions, raffles, and entertainment by Japanese folk artist Ken Koshio, samba dancers from Brazilian Art Studio, band C.C. Ryder and the VALLEYLIFE Glee Club and Dance Troupe with special guests Wheels of Expression. Following the cocktail hour, the 170 guests enjoyed an ambrosial dinner before the evening was turned over to C.C. Ryder for guests to dance and mingle for the rest of the evening.
Amy and Brian Winski and Ashley Collins and Vaughn Kelly co-chaired the evening. Jessica Wert Hunsaker and Caleb Hunsaker and Juanice and Arthur Oldham were the honorary chairs. JoAnn and Tim Holland were the honorary chairs emeritus. Funds from the evening will support VALLEYLIFE member needs, including speech therapy, physical therapy, grief counseling Glee Club, dance lessons and nutrition coaching.
