GlitzGlamGive Gala Raises Funds for the Arthritis Foundation

GlitzGlamGive Gala, the Oscar-viewing party that benefits the Arthritis Foundation, took place Feb. 26 at the Arizona Biltmore. The 23^rd annual event honored Mercie Loftus, co-owner of Beatif-Eye, along with her rheumatologist Dr. Saima Chohan with Arizona Arthritis and Rheumatology Associates and 6-year-old Brianna Cooney, 2017 youth honoree.

Brianna’s parents are both first responders. Valerie Cooney is an engineer with the Glendale Fire Department, and John Cooney is a firefighter with the Phoenix Fire Department.

Guests enjoyed live and silent auctions, mystery boxes, a red-carpet reception and a Roxanne’s Couture fashion show. Live auction highlights included a Glendale Fire Fighter Experience, Arizona Coyotes Broadcast Experience, The Capital Grille Chefs table and in-home personal dining experience as well as a Labrador puppy from Graves Labradors. Gila River Casinos was the red-carpet sponsor and OrthoArizona was the Hollywood sponsor.
