Brenda and Kurt Warner’s Celebrity Game Night Honoring Shane Doan Raises Funds for Treasure House

Treasure House is a Glendale community opening in mid-2018 that will provide a supportive living environment where young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can participate in their community, achieve independence and realize their purpose.

Philanthropists and founders of Treasure House Brenda and Kurt Warner — the latter of Arizona Cardinals and NFL Hall-of-Fame notoriety — are at the helm of the project and raised money during their first-ever Celebrity Game Night at the Ross Aviation facility in Scottsdale on February 9.

The event was emceed by Tara Hitchcock and included Brenda and Kurt Warner, Shane and Andrea Doan, Arizona Cardinals’ David Johnson, Arizona Diamondbacks’ Archie Bradley and Torey Lovullo and Phoenix Suns’ Alan Williams. The presenting sponsor was Cardon Development Group.
Nearly 500 guests enjoyed an exciting event space that featured upscale versions of foosball, Jenga, basketball shoot-out and cornhole. The live program included fun versions of The Price is Right, Shane Doan Trivial Pursuit, Win, Lose or Draw and a thrilling live auction featuring trips and live experiences.

Rock Rickert is a board member of Treasure House and director of business development of Archicon Architecture and Interiors. Rickert said construction is nearing completion.
“In April, we’ll have potential residents coming in for a trial run of a week to see what it’s like being away from home, while giving staff a chance to see how perspective residents do in that kind of environment,” Rickert said.

Arizona Diamondbacks’ Archie Bradley was on hand to support the Warners and honor Shane Doan.
“Being part of the Diamondbacks, we’re really involved in the community,” Bradley said. “I got to play golf with Shane a few weeks ago with Coach Arians at TPC. Shane and I got to play nine holes together and he’s a role model of mine now. The guy is first class. I’ve heard the same thing about Kurt, but I’ve never met him, so, there’s a little bit of fanboy in me tonight.”
Event sponsors include Zane’s Law, MT Builders Companies, National Bank of Arizona, Arizona Community Foundation, Dr. Clayton Polowy, Ridgeline Construction and Alliance Companies.
