Board of Visitors Celebrates 62nd Annual Fashion Show Luncheon
The Board of Visitors 62nd Annual Fashion Show Luncheon, “Pumps and Pearls” was held Dec. 5 at The Arizona Biltmore. The fashion show featured the 2016 Flower Girls, grandchildren of Board of Visitors members and professional models, all wearing fashions from Dillard’s. Melissa Coy and Sharon Stevens co-chaired the event.
An anonymous donor agreed to match all raffle ticket sales the day of the event, which were $32,810. The donor’s generosity will increase grants to worthy organizations in Maricopa County.
Proceeds from the event benefit health-care needs of women, children and the elderly in the community. Last year, The Board of Visitors donated $851,000 to local charities, including Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation, Circle the City, Alzheimer’s Association and Mission of Mercy.
The 2016 Flower Girls will be presented at the 101st Annual Board of Visitors Charity Ball on April 5, 2016, at The Camelback Inn.
