Black, Starr & Frost Debut Party
Black, Starr & Frost, the historic jeweler that opened on New York’s Fifth Avenue in 1810, now has a presence in the Valley. On the weekend of Oct. 16 – Oct. 18, the salon in Phoenix opened to much fanfare in the Biltmore Plaza Shopping Center in the southern portion of the Molina Fine Jewelers building.
In addition to press events, a public ribbon-cutting with the legendary Carol Channing and a weekend-long open house, Black, Starr & Frost Chairman Alfredo J. Molina and President Renee Dee hosted an exclusive VIP celebration the evening of Oct. 17. Guests enjoyed a tour of the new store, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, music dancing throughout the evening, and, of course, an up-close look at the beautiful jewelry collections and historical Black, Starr & Frost memorabilia.
Guests received autographed copies of the newly published coffee-table book 1810: Celebrating Two Centuries of American Luxury, Black, Starr & Frost.
