2nd Annual Plated & Staged
The second annual Plated & Staged . . . A Herberger Theater Experience fundraiser was April 30. Guests dined at 18 top Valley restaurants to benefit the Herberger Theater’s Youth Outreach Programs – Arizona Young Artists’ Competition, Multicultural Theater Camp, and Wolf Trap Early Learning through the Arts.
Guests didn’t learn where they were dining until the evening of the event. They were greeted at the Herberger Theater with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres by Tom & Lin Catering and Because Baked Goods, a silent auction, wine pull and entertainment by Ocotillo Music. Young people from Storybook Entertainment also performed. All had been involved with Valley Youth Theatre and most had performed previously on the Herberger Theater stage, tying back to the support the evening generated for the youth outreach programs.
At the end of the cocktail hour, guests were given their assigned restaurants and departed for dinner.
Billie Jo and Judd Herberger sponsored the fundraising event, along with APS, Arizona Community Foundation, Arizona Lottery, flutterDshutter Photography, Gensler, Lithotech and Tom & Lin Catering.
