Epilepsy Foundation’s fundraising soiree at Grayhawk Golf Club raises money for Camp Candlelight.
The Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona hosted its 10th anniversary Purple & Black Ball at Grayhawk Golf Club in North Scottsdale on Sept. 19. The 170 guests enjoyed dinner, a silent auction and music from Jumping Cholla & the Naked Horns.
The evening honored Dr. Joseph Drazkowski with the Commitment to Epilepsy award and the memory of Ray Krueger with the Fundraiser of the Year award. Funds raised at the gala will go toward Camp Candlelight, a camp for children with epilepsy. Proceeds will also support training for schools, businesses and the general public about the various types of seizures and seizure first aid to eliminate the stigma that continues to exist for individuals with epilepsy.
