2015 Every Child Matters Luncheon
More than 350 arts and children’s advocates celebrated the impact that Free Arts for Abused Children in Arizona has had using therapeutic art to heal abused, neglected and homeless children at the 2015 Every Child Matters Luncheon. The Oct. 28 event at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia featured artwork by the children.
In addition, it recognized Mike Cohn, a longtime advocate, supporter nad board member of the organization for his contributions as a leader and a friend. Coh, area president of Cohn Financial Group, is the immediate past president of the Free Arts board of directors and is the 2015-16 chair for the Phoenix Art Museum Board of Trustees. Cohn has been a Free Arts board member since 2008, serving in a variety of roles including vice president of development, board governance and president.
Free Arts serves more than 8,000 children every year.
