Phoenix Symphony Names Gary Egan CFO

The Phoenix Symphony has hired Gary Egan as its new CFO.
Egan previously served as a board member for the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS as well as the organization’s interim CFO and CEO. Prior to that, he was the deputy director of finance and administration and assistant treasurer at the Phoenix Art Museum where he worked for eleven years.
“I am honored to welcome Gary to our Phoenix Symphony family and leadership team,” said Symphony president and CEO Jim Ward. “Gary has proven himself as an incredible asset to the arts and cultural community, his experience and commitment to the Valley will help The Phoenix Symphony achieve our mission to bolster the cultural economy and provide sustained stability and growth.”
Egan has also worked with The Mariner’s Museum in Virginia and at Georgetown University in various financial positions.
He is a graduate of the Getty Leadership Institute at Berkeley, holds a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from Georgetown University.
