Designer Doghouses to Raise Funds for Homeless Pets
Local architects, interior designers and home builders will compete to create the ultimate doghouse at Design for Dogs — all to benefit the Arizona Animal Welfare League.
The event, previously named Wine for Woofs and Beer for Barks, will take place at Facings of America Showroom on February 23 at 5 p.m. and will include local beer and wines, food, music and raffle prizes.
Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction for the custom doghouses, with funds raised benefiting the state’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter.
The shelter provides a home for more than 4,000 homeless pets in need each year.
