Who’s Coming to a Theatre Near You
Arizona Theatre Company is pleased to welcome two talented individuals.
The theatre will soon see new administrative team members: Matthew Graber, director of marketing, and Zacory Boatright, director of sales and business development.
Graber and Boatright will work to develop new partnerships for ATC and promote the 2013-14 Season. ATC’s 47th season was announced in March and includes Broadway hits “Xanadu,” “Other Desert Cities” and “The Importance of Being Earnest”.
“Matt and Zac have been great additions to our team here at ATC,” said managing director Mark Cole. “They bring with them great perspectives on the theatre industry, and their respective expertise will help boost the profile of our exciting new plays.”
Matthew Graber, director of marketing, has more than 15 years of experience in all facets of professional theatre, specializing in artistic production and management. In his new position, Matt will be responsible for the strategy, management and direction of ATC’s marketing efforts in Phoenix and Tucson.
Matt recently earned a joint master’s of fine arts and business administration in theater management from California State University Long Beach. Prior to joining ATC, Matt served as the producing director at The Blank Theatre in Hollywood, where he procured shows including “The Cradle Will Rock” and “Peter Pan, The Boy Who Hated Mothers”. While at The Blank Theatre, Matt produced several high-profile events including “Hollywood On Tap” beer festival at Paramount Studios and “A Night With David Crosby & Graham Nash,” the theatre’s highest grossing fundraiser to date.
Zacory Boatright, director of sales and business development, brings with him more than a decade of experience in theatre and sales. In his new position, Zac will work to improve sales operations and forge new relationships throughout Arizona to support ATC’s artistic vision.
Zac last worked at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington, D.C., where he was responsible for restructuring sales and business development operations. Zac holds a bachelor’s degree in playwriting, with a minor in theatre and film, from the University of Kansas, where he was recognized twice with the Grant K. Goodman Playwriting Award.
