The Pig Goes Pink for Charity
The pig is pink for a day.
Friday, March 15, at 5:30 p.m. the crew at Pig & Pickle are pulling out all the stops for a special event to benefit a charity near and dear to them.
Foodies, friends and family are invited to celebrate the strides that cancer research has made, but more importantly, to support where it needs to go during a five-course dinner by Chefs Keenan Bosworth and Joshua Riesner accompanied by a silent auction and live entertainment with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
So, why breast cancer and why March?
“My thought is, ‘Don’t tell me you love me just because it’s Valentine’s Day,’ and the same applies to how we approach supporting important causes,” said Pig & Pickle’s very own Chef Keenan Bosworth. “We need to sincerely aid organizations we deeply care about year-round, not just during celebratory months or because it’s a holiday. This dinner is dedicated in memory of my dear late friend Michelle Santroch and all the other warriors who we have lost needlessly to breast cancer or have been affected by it.”
