Sonoran Desert Chorale Celebrates 24th Season with Two Holiday Performances
“Nothing is more exciting than happening upon an obscure, nearly forgotten carol that still breathes with life,” said arranger Shawn Kirchner. “For centuries, such carols have been dusted off, reshaped, and shared anew, bringing fresh bursts of Christmas joy to the festivities of the season.”
The performance will include a compilation of both old and new carols accompanied by percussion instruments, and organ and much more.
Arrangements are by Shawn Kirchner, Mack Wilberg, John Rutter and Bob Chilcott.
