Pinnacle Aviation Goes Platinum
Pinnacle Aviation, a private aviation management company with headquarters in Scottsdale, recently received two industry awards in safety: one by the ARGUS CHEQ program and one by the IS-BAO.
Pinnacle received a Platinum award from the ARGUS CHEQ (Charter Evaluation and Qualification) program, a detailed third-party due-diligence system for charter operators around the world, and developed by ARGUS more than 10 years ago. As of July 10, 2013, only 108 operators have received a Platinum award.
The IS-BAO (International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations) also awarded Pinnacle Aviation with a Stage II level of Safety Management System (SMS) maturity. IS-BAO certified operators experience benefits such as enhanced operating safety, efficiency improvements in operations and reduced insurance rates. Pinnacle Aviation is one of two charter providers in Arizona that are IS-BAO certified.
Pinnacle Aviation has 23 years’ experience in aircraft sales and acquisition, management, maintenance, insurance and charter, both domestically and internationally. The company currently has operations in Hawaii, California, Arizona and New Jersey. Founder and President Curt Pavlicek is a former corporate pilot with a passion for aviation.
“This accomplishment is the result of the safety culture we have established in our organization in every facet of our operation,” Pavlicek says.
