Ballet Arizona Returns to the Garden with ‘Topia’

Expect the unexpected as Ballet Arizona continues its yearly tradition, An Evening at Desert Botanical Garden. Back by popular demand, Ib Andersen, artistic director, will present his masterpiece Topia for the first time in four years.

The blend of movement, sound and multimedia will be presented on an 80-foot stage with the Papago Buttes as a backdrop. Ballet enthusiasts can watch dancers take a sunset class and dine on a pre-show dinner from Fabulous Food starting at 6:30 p.m. Access to Desert Botanical Garden is included with admission.

The only professional ballet in the Valley will present 14 performances of Topia from Tues., May 23, through Sat., June 10.
