Kroctober Promises Halloween Fun For The Whole Family At The Salvation Army Kroc Center

The 2017 Arizona Parks and Recreation Association Special Event Award winner, Kroctober, is back at The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Phoenix South Mountain (Kroc Center), located at 1375 E. Broadway Rd.

Taking place from 4:30-7 p.m. on Halloween, this free event promises a night of trick-or-treating, games, prizes, sports activities, inflatable bounce houses, arts and crafts, and 2,000 pounds of candy, which means a ton of fun … literally and figuratively … for the entire family.

Whataburger has pledged a $500 monetary donation and an additional in-kind donation valued at more than $4,000, which includes fruit snacks, reflective coloring bags, glow bracelets, coupons, and a “Whataburger for a Year” gift basket for raffle. Other organizations wishing to donate to Kroctober are encouraged to contact the Kroc Center at 602-425-5000.

More information on this and other events and activities at the Kroc Center can be found at KrocPhoenix.org.
