Luscious Tables to Benefit Ryan House
If you like to entertain and love to create amazing tablescapes, the IFDA’s (International Furnishings & Design Association) event to benefit Ryan House is tailor-made for you.
Tableau Cinq 2012 will be held Oct. 13 at the Phoenician Resort, where the main ballroom will be brimming with more than 30 over-the-top tablescapes designed and created by top Valley design professionals. This year’s main theme is “An Evening at Moulin Rouge,” but styles will range from the Most Sophisticated to the Most Whimsical, and from the Best use of Color to the People’s Choice Award.

In addition to viewing the beautiful tables, guests will enjoy a French-inspired dinner, all benefiting Ryan House, the first pediatric respite and palliative care home in the Southwest serving children who face life-threatening illnesses and their families.

Three celebrity judges will judge the tablescapes: Erika Monroe-Williams of the website “The Hopeless Housewife” and Fox 5 San Diego Morning Show; Robert Black, formerly of the Ford/Robert Black Modeling Agency and now owner of the Fashion By Robert Black; and Windsor Smith of Windsor Smith Home.
Deanna Clarkson and Bob Smith, honorary chairs
Tina Mellino, ASID, IFDA, Zia Interior Design, and Karen Egan, designer/owner at Karlee Enterprises, are the event chairs, and Deanna Clarkson and Bob Smith are the honorary chairs.
But the stars of the evening will be the awe-inspiring tablescapes.
