Arizona Restaurant WeekNo Ticket Required. Just Bring the Appetite.

Arizona never tastes so reasonably good.  Foodies can treat their taste buds –or get an excuse, to a night of 3-course flavors.  It is important for our economies appetite to get a food boost; we’re spotlighting places to spend the dollar that understand this powerful circle of support by giving back to us.

Acacia

Chef Albert Hall serves up seasonally inspired, locally sourced cuisine and creative cocktails in a comfortable, modern setting. Albert and his wife Lila strongly believe in being good “neighbors,” by supporting organizations including Diamond Children’s Medical Center, UA Presents, Hope Animal Shelter and Blair Foundation.

Province

Did you know Chef de Cuisine Rita French of Province at The Westin Phoenix Downtown used to serve in the U.S. military for six years? The Foodist 2013 Awards Nominee, serves on the advisory board of the Phoenix Philanthropists and on the leadership board of C-CAP.

North Italian Farmhouse

North offers fundraising nights in which a percentage of sales are donated back to a hosting school or organization. North is partnering with the American Heart Association to create a heart-healthy menu available throughout June.  A portion of the proceeds will support heart disease and stroke prevention and education.

Searsucker

Searsucker has already partnered with several Valley charities since opening its doors in late October 2012. Searsucker’s raised thousands of dollars for local charities and non-profit organizations. Valley non-profit partners include but are not limited to Desert Botanical Gardens, Scottsdale Sister Cities, Fresh Start Women’s Foundation and Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.

Beckett’s Table

Chef Beckett and the Beckett’s Table team are active members of a variety of Phoenix organizations. The restaurant donates to selection of local charities that promote the development of area youth, ensure the safety of the animal population and fund medical research toward finding a cure for cancer; all causes near and dear to the hearts of the Beckett’s and Stephens.

El Chorro

El Chorro’s strives to maintain its beautiful desert surroundings. The iconic Paradise Valley restaurant donates to a variety of charities promoting women’s health and child development each month. In 2012 El Chorro supported the American Liver Foundation’s Flavors of Phoenix, Key to the Cure fighting women’s cancers and March of Dimes’ 2012 Signature Chefs Auction.

Different Pointe of View

Different Pointe of View has been serving the Valley both culinary delights and through philanthropic efforts for 30 years. The restaurant and its Executive Chef Anthony DeMuro donate their time, talents and auction items to various charity events such as the American Liver Foundation’s Flavors of Phoenix event. The restaurant also hosts several classes offering the “Bigs” and “Littles” of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona an opportunity to spend time together while learning culinary skills to apply to everyday life.
