Two Pups Wellness Fund Raises $100K+ at Inaugural Event

Last month, Two Pups Wellness Fund welcomed approximately 250 guests to its inaugural benefit at the Arizona Science Center, raising more than $100,000 for vital medical care for shelter and rescue animals.
“How lucky are we to have such amazing donors that we are able to help so many sick injured and abused animals,” said Two Pups Wellness Fund founder and event chair Nancy Silver. “The bad news is that we have to. The great tragedy of our cause that for every animal we help, hundreds more are in need.”
Guests were welcomed by a hedge-lined carpet covered in paw prints, fresh flowers in dog bone boxes and cat food bag décor. STATUS provided live music and guests enjoyed two signature cocktails as well as bites by M catering.
Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in animal friendly crafts and mingle with puppies that were up for adoption by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. All puppies were adopted by the end of the night.
“I’m incredibly grateful as is our entire team at County” said Maricopa County Animal Care and Control director Mary Martin. “Two Pups Wellness Foundation has changed us for good.”
Event sponsors included, AUL, Cove Communities, Wrigley Mansion, Doudell Trucking, Raymond James and Associates, Iconic Event Studios, Silverware Inc., The Paper Place, Jennifer and Jon Bohnert, Robert Black and Marc Reid, The Harold and Jean Grossman Family Foundation, Judy Hamacher, Mary and Dennis Martin, Scott Schaefer, and Neil and Vicki Motzkin.
Two Pups Wellness Fund was founded and launched in spring 2017 and has since helped more than 200 animals, not including the 330 dogs that received the deadly Strep Zoo inoculation earlier this year.
