‘Go, Dog. Go!’ Gala

The Childsplay Go, Dog. Go! Gala on May 5 put a lot of fun into fundraising. The 41-year-old theater company for young audiences hosted 230 guests at Events on Jackson in downtown Phoenix to support its arts-in-education programs.

The evening included a silent auction with unique artwork and experiences, a “doggone” great dinner from Fabulous Food and performances from the company’s national tour of Go, Dog. Go! Childsplay teamed up with Lost Our Home Pet Rescue, which brought in adoptable puppies and dogs for photos and snuggling.

The event netted $85,000 to support Childsplay’s arts-in-education programs, which serve more than 200,000 schoolchildren in Arizona and across the country each year.
