21st Annual Fresh Start Gala

With the theme “Impact one woman, ignite generations,” the 21st Annual Fresh Start Gala grossed more than $1.2 million. Proceeds from the March 4 event will benefit the programs and services for women offered at Fresh Start Women’s Foundation.

More than 720 guests attended the black-tie affair at The Phoenician, with some women wearing gowns designed by Zang Toi, who presented his 2017 Fall collection in partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue during the cocktail reception. Toi was on hand for the occasion.

The evening honored community volunteer and Fresh Start supporter Jan Lewis with the Founders’ Award. Lewis was singled out for her dedication and commitment to the empowerment of women and families.

Rani G performed during the cocktail hour, and live music by The Hamptons kept guests on the dance floor throughout the evening.

Bank of America | Merrill Lynch | U.S. Trust was the presenting sponsor. Amanda Garmany, philanthropist; Annette Musa, Arizona corporate banking leader; and Amy Videan, fashion industry icon, co-chaired the event.
