Holiday Prelude XXX Luncheon and Fashion Show Puts Guests in Festive Spirits

To many, nothing kicks off the holiday season quite like Holiday Prelude – a day of shopping, enjoying a luncheon with friends and seeing the latest fashions in a runway show. This year was no exception.

Holiday Prelude XXX Luncheon and Fashion Show celebrated the season with a festive array of boutiques (many guests attend for this alone!), elegant luncheon menu, colorful centerpieces, raffle prices and fashions. The theme was “Gifts of the Season,” and it was reflected in the centerpieces atop the tables in the Phoenician ballroom. Guests, dressed in their holiday best, completed the picture.

Fashions presented on the runway included Evans Furs, Galina Couture, Femme and Babette shops at Gainey Village, Dolce at Hilton Village and Dillard’s Paradise Valley Mall.

Emma Jade, anchor and reporter with 12 News and 12 Weekend Today, emceed the luncheon and spoke about the importance of the Valley’s cultural organizations. Funds raised at Holiday Prelude XXX by Phoenix Art Museum League, Phoenix Theatre Guild and Phoenix Youth Symphony will be shared equally by the three organizations.

Sabrina Walters chaired the event, with Jane Evans, Michele Coombs and Debe Harvey as her co-chairs. Sponsors were Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Kathleen Duyck, Street Rods by Auto Art, SLW Realty Group and The Joint Chiropractic of Paradise Valley and Arcadia.
