PANDA Fashion Show

Wearing sunny styles from

Splendid and Peek Kids in

Scottsdale Fashion Square

and Garage Boutique for Kids in

the  Scottsdale Arts District, the

children who strutted the 

runway stole the show

at the 16^th Annual PANDA

Children Helping Children

Fashion Show.

The luncheon event was held

at The Phoenician on April 25.

The fun afternoon raises

money to support research

at the Steele Children’s

Research Center in Tucson.

Fifty-plus young models, some who were patients at the Steele Center and some who were children and friends of PANDA members, entered the runway through a huge golden star, reflecting the event’s theme, When You Wish Upon A Star. Coached by Micheline Etkin, the youngsters obviously felt right at home on the runway.

They, of course, were the real stars of the 

afternoon. Pictured below is a sampling of

their fashionable attire.
