FSWF Hires VP of Development

FreshStart names long-time supporter

Cathy Kleeman vice president of development.

Cathy Kleeman has served nearly Fresh Start Women’s Foundation for nearly 20 years, both as a board member and as part of the lead capital campaign to build the Jewell McFarland Lewis Fresh Start Women’s Resource Center. Now she has been named the nonprofit organization’s vice president of development.

During her tenure as a board member, Kleeman chaired several Fresh Start fundraisers including the Fashion Gala in 2002 and 2007.

“Fresh Start’s services to women are unparalleled, and they have such an exciting story to tell,” Kleeman says. “I am looking forward to raising awareness and resources for the organization which has played a role in my life.”

Kleeman previously served as owner of KNK2, a strategic marketing company and also as vice president of sales and marketing for the Phoenix Suns. Her involvement with community organization boards and memberships includes: Heart Ball chair, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Childhelp USA, PANDA and Xavier College Preparatory’s scholarship fashion show chair.
