Best of Show at Xavier

XAVIER ART STUDENTS WIN 'BEST OF

SHOW' AND 'FIRST PLACE'

Xavier College Preparatory senior Christina

Valenzuela and sophomore Carlee Cox were

big winners from District 9 in the 2014

Congressional Art Show. Valenzuela's piece

won "Best In Show," and Cox's captured

"First Place" in painting.  

In addition, Christina Valenzuela and Xavier junior

Cecilia Ramey were both selected to contribute 

artwork to Phoenix Art Museum's annual student

art show, hosted by the Arizona Art Education

Association for Youth Art Month in March.
