$50K Gift to AZ School for the Arts

Arizona School for the Arts is pleased to announce

a $50,000 gift from Ken and Holly Van Winkle to

support the ASA Ballet Corps Intensive program.

The gift is among the largest donations ever

received to support the ballet program.

This extraordinary gift was given in honor of their daughter, Alexandra Van Winkle, who attended ASA from 2007-2014 and found her artistic expression through ballet. Alexandra graduated from ASA in 2014 and is attending Drake University. Ken Van Winkle is Lewis Roca Rothgerber's managing partner.

“Their generous donation will contribute to the continuation of ASA’s Ballet corps Intensive program and further our mission of immersion in the discipline and creativity of the performing arts for years to come,” said Leah Fregulia Roberts, head of school and CEO.

The Van Winkles are known for their generosity and service to the community through organizations such as Arizona School for the Arts, Banner Health Foundation, Arizona State University Foundation, Ballet Arizona, Homeward Bound and the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee.
