Zang Toi Presents Giverny-Inspired Collection at Fresh Start Gala Brunch

Zang Toi was on hand for the Oct. 12 brunch to kick off the 21st Annual Fresh Start Gala. In an informal fashion show courtesy of Saks Fifth Avenue, the designer featured evening wear from his 2017 Spring Collection.

Inspired by the cascading wisteria at Monet’s gardens at Giverny, the fashions included hand-embellished gowns, coats and wraps incorporating violets and lavenders. Embroidered sequins and ribbons cascaded from the shoulders as well as the waist, and headpieces worn by the models mimicked the florals of the gowns.
