Mentoring Program Raises Nearly $325K at Annual Breakfast

New Pathways for Youth hosted a sold out “More Than Hope. Necessity.” themed breakfast at the Phoenix Art Museum earlier this month raising nearly $325,000 for the organization.
“This year’s Annual Breakfast was the most inspiring and impactful breakfast ever,” said New Pathways for Youth president and CEO Christy McClendon. “The dollars raised during the breakfast will be able to serve 85 new youth. Thank you to the entire community for our amazing support of our critical mission.”
The entirely youth-led program featured their stories of challenge and transformation. One aspect of the program was a “Walk the Line” demonstration which shared the various traumatic life events the youth at New Pathways face.
On average, teens in the mentoring program have faced four or more adverse childhood experiences.
