Jacob Moon

Musical Instrument Museum
Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Jacob Moon is known for his award-winning pop and folk songs.
He is also a master of the art of live looping, a performance style where he records what he’s playing in real time and layers sound on sound to make one guitar sound like an orchestra. Stylistically, Moon fits into the roots category, with some eclectic twists. His strong rhythmic sense is complemented by a keen ear for catchy melodies and lyrical depth.
In November 2013, Moon released Fascination, a new collection of covers containing works by Rush, Yes, Marillion, Radiohead, Peter Gabriel, Keane, and Tom Waits, as well as two original songs.
