Legacy Gallery Celebrates 25 Years

The Legacy Gallery on Main Street in Scottsdale celebrates its 25th anniversary March 8 and 9 with a special show. The owners, Jinger and Brad Richardson, are second generation art dealers in Scottsdale. Jinger’s parents started the first gallery on Main Street in the 1960s.

The gallery occupies 17,000 square feet of space on the corner of Scottsdale Road and Main Street. In 2005, the gallery added the Scottsdale Art Auction held in April each year.

To celebrate the milestone, the gallery is hosting a major art show with multiple events March 8 and 9. The 25th Anniversary Show kicks off the weekend Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., featuring 46 prominent artists, including Roy Andersen, Tom Browning, Ken Carlson, Michael Coleman, G. Harvey, David Mann and Kyle Polzin, among others. The show will be sold by draw, with buyers being able to purchase works first if they are in attendance.

On Saturday, R. S. Riddick and John Colemanfj, both award-winning artists of Cowboy Artists of America, will present video and demonstrations.
