Grammy-Winning La Santa Cecilia to Rock Tempe Center

Their first appearance in Arizona and Grammy winners for Best Latin Rock Band, La Santa Cecilia, comes to Tempe Center for the Arts for one night only, Friday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Originally from Los Angeles, La Santa Cecilia combines sounds from Latin culture, rock and world music. The six-member group finds inspiration from all over the world infusing rhythms like cumbia, bossa nova, rumba, bolero, tango, jazz, rock and klezmer music.  Miles Davis, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin are also among some of their favorite musical influences. The band draws fans from across the globe.

La Santa Cecilia, named after the patron saint of musicians, has made an on-camera appearance on HBO’s Emmy award-winning hit show “Entourage” and held a two-week residence for the L.A. Philharmonic, where they performed their popular songs to hometown fans.
