Designing With A Digital Pencil

Get out the sharpener.  Twenty-years ago designers began their creations by putting the ideas to paper using a lead pencil that had a big eraser.
Now designers are illustrating their cutting-edge concepts using the advances of digital textile printing that allows their inspirations to be reproduced and manipulated faster.
The Phoenix Art Museum will showcase these latest advancements in contemporary print design in its upcoming exhibition, Digital Print Fashion.
The future of how design is crafted will open March 1, 2013 and runs through July 14, 2013 at the Ellman Fashion Design Gallery.
