Back to the Country

Bonner David Galleries presents 'Back to the Country,'

a compelling overview of Romona Youngquist's latest collection of work

Younquist’s work captures the tranquility of country side landscapes while juxtaposing her serene subject matter with splashes of intense color. The perspective Miss Younquist uses makes it so the viewer actually feels as though they could step into the work and become a subject matter themselves.

“What makes Romona Younquist such a noteworthy painter is that while she is a contemporarist, she works in both mediums and themes the art world hasn’t been graced with since the English Impressionists. Her talent and use of color is derived from pure talent and formal study, something that isn’t bestowed very often in the present-day art market,” says Jules Christensen director of Galleries at Bonner David.
