ARIZONA MUSICFEST
Performing at Arizona Musicfest just two weeks after receiving three GRAMMY Awards, Rosanne Cash will perform songs from her acclaimed recording, The River & The Thread, plus other favorites. Cash received three 2015 GRAMMY awards including "Best Americana Album for The River & The Thread," "Best American Roots Song," and "Best American Roots Performance." Since her 1981 breakout hit, Seven Year Ache, Cash has followed in the footsteps of her legendary father, Johnny Cash, by extending the country genre to appeal to an even-wider and appreciative audience. A twelve-time GRAMMY nominee, Cash has also scored 11 No. 1 country hit singles, 21 Top 40 country singles and two Gold Records, plus 2014 Americana Music Association award nominations for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.

She performs a soulful tribute to the music of the legendary Billie Holliday, whose 100th birthday is being observed in 2015.

The Desert Botanical Garden presents new works by world-renowned artists Philip and Matt Moulthrop. The exhibition features a collection of turned wood that reveals the inherent beauty of trees and shrubs native to Arizona. Woodturning has been a Moulthrop family legacy for three generations and their pieces are immediately recognizable by their distinct contemporary forms. You can find their work in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institute, the American Craft Museum of New York, and the Carnegie Museum of Art.
