ARIZONA CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE
In its second year, the Arizona Concours d’Elegance is the event that kicks off Arizona’s famous collector-car week. It features rare and valuable automobiles to compete in classes from vintage and classic to sports, racing and exotic. Among the local residents who will show cars at the event are Clive Cussler and Linda and Bill Pope.
The cars are displayed on the lawns of the Arizona Biltmore and attract top judges – among them veteran concours judge John Carlson – from around the country who award winners as well as the Best of Show. All net proceeds from Arizona Concours d’Elegance benefit Make-A-Wish Arizona

44th ANNUAL SCOTTSDALE BARRETT-JACKSON AUCTION
The most famous of the car auctions, Barrett-Jackson is a fixture in the Valley’s collector-car week. This auction brings in cars from around the world. This year, more than 100 vehicles from the world-renowned Ron Pratte collection will be auctioned on Tues., Jan. 13, beginning at 9 a.m.
The event in Scottsdale is one of four auctions run by Barrett-Jackson, the others being in Las Vegas, Palm Beach and Reno Tahoe. In recent years, the auction has been branded as more than a car show and auction. It has been called a “lifestyle event” that includes shopping, concerts and more.

Since 2000, RM Arizona has been held at the Arizona Biltmore. In 2014, RM Arizona had $45.5 million in sales and sold a 1958 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider for $8.8 million. Bidders come to the show from around the world. The event follows Arizona Concours d’Elegance at the Biltmore.
