Friends of European Art and the

Contemporary Forum at Phoenix

Art Museum hosted a private reception

for members in mid-November. The

event was held prior to a screening of

the film Tim's Vermeer, a story about

an artist’s quest to understand the

painting techniques used by 17^th century

Dutch Master Johannes Vermeer (“Girl

with a Pearl Earring”).  Special guests

included the film’s subject, Tim Jenison,

and co-producer Farley Ziegler. A time

for discussion followed the viewing.
