raises more than $350K
Celebrating its 20th year, the Fresh Start Charity Golf Classic welcomed a sold-out crowd and raised more than $350,000 – more than in any previous year. Valley Toyota dealers were the presenting sponsors.
The Nov. 9 golf event was held at the Kierland Golf Club and included breakfast, lunch and beverages on the course as well as an awards banquet and live auction at the conclusion. The format included a four-person scramble playing 12 par 3, four par 4 and two par 5 holes. The unique tournament offers 12 hole-in-one prizes, including an array of vehicles courtesy of Valley Toyota dealers and two other packages valued at $10,000 each. Prize competitions throughout the day included a $25,000 putting contest and a million-dollar shoot-out.
The Fresh Start Men’s Board hosted the tournament.
