MODEL OF THE YEAR SEARCH
Phoenix Fashion Week is searching for the next “IT” models from around the state of Arizona in the 2014 installment of its ‘Model of the Year’ Competition, kicking off the Sat., June 21, Model Search at Studio 3D in Phoenix. Local models are invited to strut their stuff for the chance to be a part of Phoenix Fashion Week this October.
The auditions start at 10 a.m. Judges will narrow down the competition to the ‘Model of the Year’ Top 40, consisting of six male models and 34 female models. These male and female models will receive head-to-toe makeovers from TONI&GUY, the official hair partner of PHXFW 2014, before competing in various challenges to strengthen their skills and prepare them for industry success, including headshot, runway and print campaign.
For the second year, Phoenix Fashion Week will be naming a male and female Model of the Year winner from the Top 40. Both will secure a modeling contract with The Agency Arizona following the announcement at the Official Phoenix Fashion Week After Party Oct. 4 at Talking Stick Resort.
