PHX ARCHITECTURE TO HOST SIXTH ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP

For the sixth year, PHX Architecture will host a summer camp for college-bound students considering a career in architecture.

This year, the program will run from June 9 to June 20, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The two-week camp will introduce students to the many different aspects of an architectural career, allowing them to observe and learn from a staff of talented professionals.

Camp attendees will learn about space planning, project management, business strategies, green architecture and the history behind the career, as well as the basics of hand rendering, 3D modeling and drafting, and using Photoshop and InDesign programs.Included in the program are daily lunches, tours of Taliesin West, ASU and a construction site.
