‘Master’ Architect

Erik Peterson AIA has been named “Master of the Southwest” by Phoenix Home & Garden magazine. The magazine interacts with talented architects, interior designers, landscape architects, builders, artists and craftspeople in the course of publishing the monthly issue. Each year, Phoenix Home & Garden recognizes select individuals from each of these categories. For those in the profession, the designation marks a career of consistently high-quality work.

Past recipients include many of the Valley’s noted architects, including Dale Cardon, Terry Kilbane and Vernon D. Swaback. They inspire those who are beginning their careers or are working to the mastery of their professions. Such is the case with Peterson, who admired many of the past “Masters” and the quality of work they did.

“I am honored, and humbled to be recognized the editor and staff of Phoenix Home & Garden magazine. It is wonderful to be named a “Master of the Southwest” doing what I am passionate about in a place as terrific as the Southwest,” Peterson says.

He shares his recognition with the team he works with at PHX Architecture. “Masters of the Southwest” will be in the magazine's March issue.
