Dine Out With the Chefs

The 7th annual Dine Out With the Chefs: A Celebration of the Culinary Arts Oct. 7 at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. More than 300 guests mingled and enjoyed mouth-watering cuisine prepared by more than 25 top Valley chefs. Proceeds benefited the programs of Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, including its education and outreach initiatives.

Dine Out With the Chefs featured live music by the Matt Johnson Trio; tastings of fine wines, craft beers, vodkas and coffees; and gourmet cooking demonstrations. Among the special guests were professional mixologist Jason Asher, named GQ’s “Most Inspired Bartender of 2010,” who served one-of-a-kind cocktails in the VIP Lounge; Arizona winemaker Sam Pillsbury; chef Laura Slama of Sub-Zero Wolf Kitchen; and author Pamela Swartz, who signed copies of her latest edition of Dine Out Phoenix: Where to Eat from Chic to Unique.

Dine Out with the Chefs was produced by Pamela Swartz of Dine Out llc with Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and was made possible by signature sponsors China Mist and Hotel Valley Ho; supporting sponsor APS; and chef sponsor Casino Arizona.
