Planned Parenthood Arizona has received a grant of $75,000 from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust.

“Our organization has dedicated itself to providing education and high quality reproductive health care for the last 82 years,” stated Bryan Howard, President of Planned Parenthood Arizona. “This grant from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust will give us additional support for a Youth Serving Coalition that aims to provide Arizona’s young people access to risk reducing education and sexual health care services they need to lead successful and empowering futures.”

“During her career, Nina Mason Pulliam shared her financial success and business leadership skills with many charities.  She had a keen awareness of challenges that face our community and would take great pride in the outstanding work being done by organizations like Planned Parenthood Arizona,” said Carol Schilling, Trustee chair.  “Through her Trust, we continue to build on her legacy, which clearly reflects her heart for philanthropy.”

The grant to Planned Parenthood Arizona represents one of 26 awarded to nonprofit organizations in Arizona by the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust during the first of two grant cycles this year. Since the Trust began its grant making in 1998, it has awarded more than $260 million to 933 nonprofit organizations in its home states of Arizona and Indiana.
