Babbo Italian Eatery to Donate All Profits to Phoenix Children’s Hospital on New Location’s Opening Day

Babbo Italian Eatery will celebrate the opening of its eighth Metro Phoenix location on Thursday, April 19 by donating all profits to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The new location is located at the corner of Pima Road and Talking Stick in Scottsdale.
“We are extremely excited to bring this location to the Scottsdale and the Salt River communities,” said owner, Ken Pollack. “This structure was built from the ground up and is really a labor of love from everyone involved.”
In addition to donating profits from all of its locations to Phoenix Children’s Hospital on the new location’s opening date, Babbo will also match the donations raised dollar for dollar.
Babbo will also make an additional donation to the Salt River Community Children’s Foundation.
“We are thrilled to partner with Babbo, who truly understands the importance of supporting our community’s children,” said Steve Schnall, senior vice president and chief development officer of Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation. “The funds raised from this one day will have a direct impact on patient care and provide hope for sick and injured children.”
The new location is 6,000 square feet and will accommodate 236 guests with family seating as well as a full bar. The locally owned restaurant opened its first location in 2002 and offers guests Italian cuisine including spaghetti and meatballs, pizza and focaccia bread, to name a few.
“Babbo means daddy in Italian, and the idea of family is central to everything we do,” said Pollack. “Our staff functions as the heart of our restaurant and we are committed to providing each guest with a personalized, high quality experience where you will surely leave feeling like one of the family.”
