Arizona Broadway Theatre Raises $120K+ for Programming

Arizona Broadway Theatre hosted its fifth annual Broadway Ball last month hosting more than 200 guests and raising over $120,000 to benefit the theatre and its artistic, educational and charitable programs.
The event included a cocktail hour, three-course dinner, silent and live auctions. Entertainment was provided by Arizona Broadway Theatre’s Mainstage and children’s programs.
Kiel and Cassandra Klaphake, the theatre’s co-founders and executive producers, spoke about the transformational power of live theatre and shared exciting updates on the theatre including a scheduled Encore Room appearance of musical theatre composer Jason Robert Brown and an introduction to Mark and Lynzee 4man, co-directors of a new teen performance troupe.
Guests ended the night with dancing with musical performances by Len King and the AZ Swing Kings accompanied by Arizona Broadway Theatre vocalists.
Sharon Jarnagin and Lisa Platt served as the co-chairs of the event.
Event sponsors included Arrowhead Cadillac, the Arizona Coyotes Foundation, TC Schuttler, Arrowhead Dermatology, Low Mountain Construction, the Honorable Cathy Carlat, Mayor and the City of Peoria.
