Valentine’s Day is a great day for love — and eating — especially in the Valley. Local restaurants are pulling out all the stops for the upcoming holiday, with delicious prix fixe menus, holiday-themed menu items and more. We gathered up a few of our favorites to make your make your Valentine’s Day as sweet as possible.
1. Dorian
Old Town Scottsdale
Dorian, Old Town Scottsdale’s newest restaurant, is offering couples their choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert for $90. Plus, if you’re in the mood for wine, all bottles will be half off on the 14th only.
2. Gordon Biersh

Gordon Biersh is offering much more than just their special Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu — they’re giving you the opportunity to gift your Valentine a year of Gordon Biersh with their “A Year Crafted with Love” certificate book, which includes 52 vouchers for a starter dish and two glasses of wine or beer every week of the year.
3. The Canal Club
Old Town Scottsdale
Downtown Scottsdale’s most unique hotel has a new restaurant — The Canal Club. Check it out on Valentine’s day for a $90 pre-fixe menu that will include a four-course meal of charred strawberry panzanella, surf on the turf, duck cazeula and more. Plus, for just $30 more you’ll receive beverage pairings as well.
4. Ocean Prime
North Phoenix
 For Valentine’s Day Ocean Prime will be offering special dishes perfect for the holiday — like the lone mountain ranch kobe strip loin, oyster mushrooms and cabernet reduction or the broiled grouper with rosemary roasted potatoes, Alaskan king crab and brown butter sauce. Don’t forget dessert either — a raspberry tart with Girl Scouts Savannah Smiles crust.
5. Carlson Creek Vineyard
Old Town Scottsdale
Not prepared for a mid-week Valentine’s Day celebration? We don’t blame you. Fortunately, Calrson Creek Vineyard’s Scottsdale tasting room is offering a special wine and chocolate pairings this weekend, Valentine’s Day and next weekend. The vineyard has even partnered with Zak’s Chocolate to create a heart-shaped dark chocolate infused with Carlson’s wine!
