Frontdoors Five: Best Cold Brew

If you haven’t converted to cold brew yet, you’re making a mistake. It’s how the Frondoors staff is powering through the dog days of summer, and we couldn’t imagine going back to the days of plain iced coffee. It tastes better and it has more caffeine so you really can’t go wrong. Don’t believe us? Try one of these five spots, just please, don’t go to Starbucks.

  1. Mama’s Cold Brew

Mama’s Cold Brew was created in 2014 by a busy Arizona Mom, and now it’s a full blown phenomenon — it’s hard to go anywhere in the Valley without seeing their brightly colored, mason jar cups! Plus, all their coffee and creamer is organic and comes in flavors like salted caramel and sweet cream vanilla.

  1. Sweetz Cold Brew

For a sweet tasting coffee, Sweetz Cold Brew is the perfect spot to try. They mix their high quality cold brew with a variety of syrups to give you your own custom flavor. Plus, they offer cold brew you can take to go in a growler so you never have to go without.

  1. Cartel Coffee

Cartel Coffee is a staple in the Phoenix coffee scene and one of the early adopters of cold brew in the Valley, so it’s almost impossible to not bring up their delicious blend, which they have available on tap and also allow you to stock up on in a 13.2 gallon coffee keg.

  1. Kaleidoscope Juice

While coffee might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Kaleidescope they have some incredible options — like fan favorite Stumptown Coffee on tap! Plus, they have more milk options than anyone in town, like coconut, hemp, soy, or their in-house almond milk.

  1. Press Coffee Roasters

Award-winning Press Coffee Roasters seems to be the buzz of the town when it comes to coffee, and the hype is well deserved. Their cold brew tastes amazing because of their dedication to consistent brewing with high quality beans, and their mission to teach the community more about coffee with tours and classes is a definite added bonus.
