Frontdoors Five: Best Summer Happy Hours

We know that for some half the fun of a happy hour is sitting on the patio, and while that may not be an option this time of year, you can still score some pretty impressive deals on small plates and cocktails at your favorite Valley hot spots. Plus — just about everyone is on vacation, so you can look forward to shorter wait times and less crowds.
1. El Chorro
El Chorro is one of the top spots in the Valley – and they know it. So, while it might be a bit pricey for an everyday meal, their happy hour is a great way to experience their rave-worthy eats and beautiful atmosphere without breaking the bank. We love the food truck fish tacos for just $7 and the El Chorro margarita for $5.
2. Roaring Fork
We love the elegant feel of Roaring Fork – and they’ve hit it out of the park with their daily happy hour, where you can get a selection of wine and cocktails for just $5, a salad for $6 or their “Big Ass Burger” for $10.
3. Taco Guild
From its beautiful cathedral-style dining room and high quality, local ingredients, it’s pretty hard to go wrong with Taco Guild, especially when they’re serving their taco of the day for just $2.50. Plus, their happy hour extends until 7 p.m., so there’s no excuse not to make it in time.
4. Culinary Dropout
There are few things more amazing than the pretzels & fondue at Culinary Dropout, and the fact they’re only $7 during happy hour is a game-changer. Plus, you can get a variety of other snacks for under $10, and well cocktails for only $4.
5. Postino
Postino seems to claim the title for Arizona’s unofficial favorite happy hour — as they’ve become well known for their $20 Monday and Tuesday deal, which gets you a bottle of wine and an order of bruschetta after 8 p.m. What you might not know, is that up until 5 p.m., you can get a glass of wine or pitcher of beer for just $5 every day of the week.
