2nd Annual Pulse of the City
Banner Health Foundation held its second annual The Pulse of the City Soiree on Dec. 2 at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia. The University of Arizona’s Pride of Arizona marching band drum line greeted guests as they arrived. During the cocktail reception, attendees enjoyed live music by the Mel Brown Trio as well as the opportunity to get an early start on holiday shopping as they browsed one-of-a-kind silent auction items.
Bobby D. Ehlert of Call to Auction hosted the live auction that included all-inclusive travel and experiences.
ABC15 Arizona News Now anchor Fay Fredricks served as the evening’s emcee. After dinner and dessert, guests moved into the concert ballroom to dance to the music of legendary recording group The Pointer Sisters performing their chart-topping hits.
The Pulse of the Soiree: A Night for Sight benefited the prevention of blindness in high-risk premature babies in Banner Health’s Neonatal Intensive Care units in the Valley and Tucson. Envision Physician Services was the title sponsor.
